Norwegian is spoken by approx. four million people. It may not be a major language, but it is definitely an exciting one! There are two official languages in Norway: Nynorsk and Bokmål. This course teaches the second of these. Rest assured that in Norway, whatever the language, everyone understands each other! This course gives a comprehensive look at everyday language, which you will be able to speak within 5 to 6 months of study.

The recordings include all the texts in Norwegian for each lesson and the translation exercises from the book. These progressively more challenging texts have been recorded by professional native speakers.
