French course for English speakers

French is a major language. Its influence is growing around the world, particularly in Africa. For English speakers, learning French is fairly straightforward because, despite some grammatical differences, the two languages share many lexical similarities and cultural references.

Our course, based on daily study of parallel dialogues in French and English, is structured around two carefully designed and progressive phases. In the first phase, learners immerse themselves in the language by listening to realistic dialogues and reading the explanatory notes, while checking and confirming their knowledge through a series of short exercises. The second phase, which begins midway through the course, activates those skills and puts them into practice, particularly through translating the dialogues. By practising regularly, learners will acquire a solid grounding in everyday vocabulary and usage, as well as the fundamental rules of grammar. The entire course, comprising around one hundred lessons, takes just a few months to complete.
