Can I use Apple's "Hide my email" feature?

You can of course use the ‘Hide my email’ function offered by Apple when you log in to our application (‘Sign in with Apple’).

But be careful! If you make your purchase in the application while you are logged in using ‘Sign in with Apple’ with the ‘Hide my email’ option activated, you should be aware that in our databases, it will not be your real email address that will be recorded, but the substitute address generated by Apple. As a result, if you wish to use our Windows or Android application, for example, you will have to connect to them using the substitute email address, which is the only one we know.

Conversely, if you made your purchase on our assimil.com site or on the Android or Microsoft application, for example. We will register your real email address. You will therefore not be able to use the ‘Sign in with Apple’ function in the iOS/iPad/macOS application if the ‘Hide my email’ option is activated.
